In April 2008, friends, Board members, staff, and supporters of
the International Book Bank came together to celebrate our 20
years (1987-2007) of delivering books to those who need them
around the world. We timed our event to coincide with this year's
National Library Week and we held it in the spectacular Enoch
Pratt Free Library in downtown Baltimore.

We were gratified that important friends to the International Book
Bank attended, including representatives of Books for Africa,
the International Reading Association, International Relief &
Development, RTI International, Rotary International, and
others. We also used the occasion to honor three very special
organizations who helped the IBB achieve what it has to date:

President's Institutional Partner Award   CODE
President's Charity Partner Award           World Vision Canada
President's Corporate Partner Award      McGraw-Hill Education

Baltimore stepped up as well in donating wonderful silent
auction items, and we thank all our silent auction donors:

       Baltimore Orioles
       Baltimore Ravens
