| the International Book Bank came together to celebrate our 20 years (1987-2007) of delivering books to those who need them around the world. We timed our event to coincide with this year's National Library Week and we held it in the spectacular Enoch Pratt Free Library in downtown Baltimore. |

| Bank attended, including representatives of Books for Africa, the International Reading Association, International Relief & Development, RTI International, Rotary International, and others. John Dau Foundation, was our
Keynote Speaker. Mr. Dau's
memoir, God Grew Tired of Us,
was made into an award-winning
film of the same name. He was a
National Geographic Explorer in
2007 and a Martin Luther King, Jr.
Man of the Year.
Dau travels throughout the U.S.
speaking about his experiences
as a Lost Boy of Sudan and
raising funds to build, staff, and
supply a medical clinic in his
homeland.
